Aratrika Human Foundation is a non-governmental organization based in the National Capital Region, Delhi), working passionately toward creating an inclusive and empowered India. Guided by the spirit of “Aratrika” —“ a spark of light in the darkness” — our foundation is driven by the belief that small, focused efforts can lead to big, lasting changes.
We are dedicated to addressing real issues affecting girls, women, and religious travelers through our three key programs:
Jago Beti (जागो बेटी)
Namaste Behna (नमस्ते बहना)
Religious Travel Restrooms (धार्मिक यात्रा प्रशाधन घर)
To create an inclusive, compassionate, and empowered India where every girl, woman, and devotee can live with dignity, confidence, and equal opportunity. We envision lighting countless lives by addressing grassroots issues with sustainable solutions, building a society where small sparks of change grow into bright beacons of hope.
At Aratrika Human Foundation, we are driven by a deep commitment to lighting lives where it matters most. Our causes focus on building dignity, empowerment, and well-being for some of the most overlooked sections of society.
“Jago Beti” (जागो बेटी), is a focused grassroots program that aims to uplift adolescent girls aged 11 to 18 by addressing their hygiene, health, and emotional well-being.
We are passionate about transforming the lives of young women aged 18 to 25 yr, through practical skill-building and low-cost vocational training. From domestic work to office support, we open doors to dignified employment, helping them become financially independent and self-reliant.
Recognizing the challenges faced by pilgrims, especially women and elders, we construct modern, hygienic restrooms near temples and holy sites. Our aim is to ensure every devotee’s spiritual journey is comfortable and dignified.
We strive to create safer, more supportive communities where gender equality is a reality.
We believe change is most powerful when communities come together. Through awareness drives, partnerships, and volunteer programs, we inspire collective action to tackle pressing local issues.

Namaste Behna is more than a skills training initiative — it is a movement of self-respect and independence. We measure our success not just by job placement rates, but by:
Every “Behna” trained under this program becomes an agent of change — not only in her own life, but in the lives of those around her.
This initiative is more than infrastructure — it’s about preserving the soul of Indian spirituality through compassion and care.
